Part of the Modern Floral Series, ‘Poppy’ is 12 x 12”, acrylic on mounted birch panel, gallery depth and features a visually textured background, overlaid with a line drawing of an Poppy flower. Poppies are a common theme in Kim’s artwork as they bring back memories of her grandparents and their service during WWII, and in Remembrance Day parades and Legion events throughout her childhood.
