Pollinators: An Exploration with Paint.
Pollinators: An Exploration with Paint.
It’s a Garden Party! And you are invited!
Join us in the garden of Sherry Shrubb, as we paint our own pollinators while we learn about how to attract more of them to our own backyards!
Take a stroll through the beautiful native plant gardens with Sherry as she passes on some of the wealth of knowledge she has about attracting pollinators in a sustainable way. Once we are inspired, together we will play with paint to create our own unique Bee and Butterfly paintings under the guidance of professional artist, Kim Clark. Working intuitively, we will use non traditional items to create colourful and dynamic backgrounds before transferring the image of a bee or butterfly onto our boards, and then bring them to life through paint and brushes.
No previous painting or gardening experience is required. All supplies provided.
Bring your own sunscreen, an open mind, and a willingness to play!
